Sales Manager

Do you like sales and to close deals? Do you like working in a fast-paced international environment? We're looking for a new colleague to join our sales team in Denmark to sell the World's best cylinder lubrication systems. You'll be helping shipping companies reducing their carbon foot print and their costs while optimizing their engine condition. 

The job 

As one of our Sales Managers you will be responsible for the sales of our cylinder lubrication systems for 2-stroke marine diesel engines on designated markets.

You will be an important part of our Sales Team.

Our customers include ship owning companies, technical management companies and engine manufactures. Our usual point of contact is technical directors, technical managers and Superintendents.

The key to your success in the job is your ability to close a deal and fulfil the target of budget.

Responsibilities as Sales Manager

  • Sales management and achieving our sales quotas on designated markets.
  • Traveling and meeting our clients continuously on the designated markets.
  • Ensure pipeline management.
  • Responsible for the sale of all new projects on your designated markets.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.

A yearly travel activity of around 70 working days are to be expected. 

Your profile

Our ideal candidate: 

  • Loves to sell and close deals.
  • Has min. 5-10 years of (commercial/sales) experience from the marine market.
  • Is result oriented and disciplined.
  • Has a commercial education but takes great interest in high-quality, technical products.
  • Is self-motivated.
  • Has a recognized experience in establishing and maintaining network to key decision makers.
  • We are willing to consider candidates that do not meet above, if you believe you can compensate with other skills/virtues.

You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. However, our company language is Danish.
